Projects

As well as delivering our core services of Skylar, Gul, Gallos, Crisis and family support work, every year Trelya delivers a series of specialist projects that build on individual and community skills, passions and interests. We recognise the power of enabling everyone’s creativity to flourish and deliver a range of high-end creative and arts-based projects across the year.

Below are a selection of examples:

Monolgues

Pass the Mic.

Funded through The Listening Fund (a fund supported by Blagrave Trust, Comic Relief, the National Lottery Community Fund, and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation), Pass the Mic developed approaches for organisational ‘deep listening’ and responding to young people. Young people worked with Trelya to build a vibrant, life-sized phone booth to showcase their stories. By picking up the phone and dialling a number, you can hear a monologue directly from a young person about an experience of engaging with local services. Monologues include, for instance, experiences of being taken into care, of being long-term unemployed, and of engaging with health services as a teenage parent.

You can listen to them here:
